Write an eBook Today

As an online article writer of only 16-months I have begun writing eBooks to help distribute knowledge to the public and help the common good. Previously I have written 2 eBooks and distributed them for free and one has an excess of 1 million views in 5-years. Indeed it is a simple book on; How to Run a Successful Car Wash Fundraiser.

Over the past 16-months I have written 7500 articles online on a variety of subjects having to do with my expertise prior to my retirement at age 40. In these articles they contain some 2,250,000 words and a 400 words per page a large 700 page Novel is about 280,000 words. So that means it is about the same as writing 8 large full-length novels. Now then if the average eBook is 100 pages of 450 words or so that is 45,000 words meaning I have already written the equivalent of 50 eBooks in 16 months.

Now let us put this into perspective shall we? In reading thru the articles many of them could be sub-chapters of eBooks as they stand without modification, about 35% of them. About half of them could become sub-chapter topics with minor modification and thus with very little work 85% of these articles can be eBook material. Meaning I currently have 45.2 eBooks worth of articles ready to rip with a little bit of organizing. In fact some of the articles I have on marketing, sales, management, etc. could be used in multiple books. Why am I telling you all this? Well certainly not out of ego, as I do not care what you think about this observation of mine.

My sole point here is to offer you advice in case you are an online article author and considering writing an eBook. You probably already have enough written to produce a couple of your own, perhaps up to 10 with a little bit of modification. I therefore recommend to all online article authors to start thinking about writing eBooks and using your articles as the basis for this. Consider it in 2006.
